Outdoor classes are currently unavailable.
What Music Together® Outside classes look like:
- Each family will bring a blanket or mat to provide a visual barrier and to help maintain distance of 6-8 feet apart.
- Masks will be optional for adults and children.
- Families will bring some instruments/props from home (can be homemade or "found") and some will be provided. Weekly emails will let families know what they should bring to class.
- Families will be encouraged to bring items for being outside: water, sunscreen, bug spray, etc.
- Bathrooms are not available so please be prepared (travel potties, etc).
- Families will be encouraged to stay on/near their blanket/area.
Other important information regarding outside classes:
- Participation in Music Together Outside classes requires signing a waiver during the registration process.
- Makeups can be done in outside classes based on availability (they can also be done on Zoom) and must be done in the semester where you're registered.
- Outside classes are on a weather-permitting basis; if it is raining, we will be on Zoom.
- We will also switch to online classes if COVID-19 dictates, through a shut-down or a different phase for the state of Michigan.
- There will be no refunds or credits due to classes moving online.
